A decent hospital for basic clinical purposes and for some specialty treatments. But the customer experience needs to be improved, especially for the emergency room. There are no strict standards for people/bystanders who enter the ER. Even though many people are waiting patiently outside the ER, some get into the ER and make a lot of noise (casual talks, chats with doctors) which is a terrible experience for patients under treatment. Bystanders should learn to keep up the hospital etiquette. If they don’t know, hospital staff should request them the same.
Another thing is the unavailability of the refreshments inside the hospital block. We reached there by 9.00 pm and there weren’t any snacks/refreshment stalls available in the main hall. It is there during the day. I would highly suggest the hospital to make it open at least till late night as there are no local shops nearby.
Plenty of parking is available. Comparatively quick attention for the patients by the hospital staff. Mostly, less crowded.

I had a great experience here at kims. The staff was friendly and professional, and the facilities were clean and modern. We received excellent care from the doctors and nurses, and I would definitely recommend this hospital to others.❤️

My grandfather had undergone spine surgery by Dr.Jefferson George at KIMS hospital, Kottayam. All staff, nurses and doctors were understanding, helpful and knowledgeable. Food and room service were also good. Would definitely recommend others for treatment.
