Dr. Idrees Akmal
MS(ORTHO) and also an orthopaedic surgeon.
He is an amazing kind of a person. I have had a very nice hospitality here. He suggests you the best medicines.
Guess for any orthopaedic problems in and around the town he is the person to meet.
The clinic has an X-RAY facility too.
But there is one disadvantage about this place that the doctor is very famous and you have to book your appointment very well in advance!!

I met Dr. Idrees Akmal 13 years ago. Was in Mysore for a short visit but unfortunately met with an accident at home. Slipped and dashed against the wall which resulted in fracture, ligament tear and dislocation. My Uncle’s daughter referred this doctor’s name. Inspite of heavy rush in his clinic, doctor saw my leg and asked me to take an x-ray in the clinic itself before seeing the next patient. Advised me to go for a surgery and I underwent surgery.. Back to Chennai after 1-1/2 months. 5 years ago, I went to a hospital in Chennai for plantar fasciitis. I informed the Ortho Surgeon that I underwent an ortho sugery and showed the reports of Dr. Idrees Akmal. Plate and screws implanted inside my ankle 13 years ago were still at the same position. Still many are advising me to remove that plate and screws but I am refusing. I feel psychologically that if I remove them, I will fall again. I have allowed it to remain in my left ankle as long as I am alive!

Best Clinic for orthopedic patients.
Dr. Idrees Akmal id a very good doctor.
But the lady at the reception is very arrogant, no doubt she does her duty with utmost sincerity but she needs to talk politely to the patients specifically to people who asks twice if they won’t understand.
