Dr Surya Prakash B is one of the most experienced urologists in Telangana. He has more than 37 years of experience and works as a senior urologist, andrologist and transplant surgeon at Yashoda Hospitals at Malakpet. He has been working at Yashoda Hospitals since 1999. Currently, he is also available for consultation at Vivekananda Hospital in Begumpet. Dr. Surya has expertise in treating blood in the urine, kidney stones, prostate problems and infections. He has also performed kidney transplants, retrograde intrarenal surgeries, prostate laser surgeries and vasectomies.

He earned his MBBS at Kurnool Medical College in 1979. In 1982, he completed his MS in General Surgery at Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh. He became a urologist in 1985 after completing his MCh in Urology from the same institute. Dr. Surya served as an assistant professor at a department of urology for a decade after completing his MCh. He is respected among his peers not just because of his immense experience, but also for the 20+ research papers he has published in indexed international journals. He is a member of the Urological Society of India and did a fellowship with the Indian American Urological Association. In the later stages of his career, he became the president of the AP & TS State Urology Association.
