Dr. Nikunj Tank completed MBBS from B.J.Medical College, Ahmedabad. He did his post graduate Diploma in Ophthalmology from M and J Western Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Ahmedabad. He did his secondary post graduate DNB Ophthalmology from Narayana Nethralaya, Bangalore. He has received his fellowship in Cataract and Cornea Surgeries from Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh. Thereafter he continued working there as a Cornea and Cataract consultant. He has practised as a high volume cataract and cornea surgeon as well as a surgical trainer at RIO, Sitapur.
