Dr. Prithwiraj Bhattacharjee is an experienced cardiologist working in Kolkata. He has performed thousands of heart surgeries, including aortic valve surgery, coronary artery bypass, heart transplant, pacemaker implantation and various minimally invasive cardiac surgeries. He is also experienced in performing open heart surgery. Some of the conditions he has treated in patients include structural heart diseases, abnormal heart rhythm and blockages in the heart.

He earned his MBBS from the University of Calcutta in 2006 and registered with the West Bengal Medical Council in the same year. Some time later, he secured a seat at the West Bengal University of Health Sciences, where he completed his MD in General Medicine. He also earned his DM in Cardiology from the same university in 2014. Since then, Dr. Prithwiraj has done a number of fellowships related to Cardiology.
