Dr. Satish Baddela is Consultant Vitreo-Retinal Surgeon and Managing Partner at Modern Retina Centre in Vijayawada and Guntur. He completed his initial medical studies at Guntur Medical College, obtaining the MBBS degree in 1995. He then served as a Physician for a few years before moving to Andhra Medical College in Visakhapatnam for his Masters in Ophthalmology, receiving the MS degree in 2002. Dr. Baddela then completed a 2-year Surgical Vitreo-Retinal Fellowship at the prestigious Aravind Eye Hospital & Post Graduate Institute of Ophthalmology in Madurai (2003-04). He worked initially as Consultant and subsequently as Chief Surgeon in the Department of Vitreo-Retina at Aravind Eye Hospital in Pondicherry until 2007. This was followed by a stint at Maxi Vision Eye Hospital as Consultant Retina Surgeon. Dr. Satish Baddela later teamed up with Dr. K Chandramohan to start the well-equipped and state-of-the-art Modern Retina Centre at Vijayawada.
