(Not for the entire hospital) For Dr. Waigankar, General Physician

My wife had stomach pain. I took the appointment for the general physician.I was expecting him to at least listen to her for where the pain is and how sustained it is and have you taken any previous medication on your own or not. In just 2 mins he wrote the medicines and blood reports and ECG and boom you are out! It’s not that he had prescribed anything wrong, but at least he should have listened to the symptoms properly (for that only we are paying 550/- right?).

Later the pain increased and we showed her to a local clinic and the local doctor listened to my wife carefully and guessed the pain due to urine infection prescribed urine test also which happened to be correct. She had a urinary infection. But we could not have known it for 2-3 days and my wife would have to suffer the pain without knowing the cause.

At least have some courtesy to listen to the patients carefully and explain to them the medicines they have prescribed. Everyone understands a little bit of medical terminologies.

A Doctor must understand that the patient doesn’t just need the medicines, they also need some care & confidence from your side and a little explanation about what problem they have and what type of medicines they are taking.

I hope someone reads and improves upon this.

Lethargic and no sense of urgency showed inspite of repeated reminders, nurses still tend to ignore request made from start of the admission to discharge. Staff is rude. And when ask questions they get irritated. Billing as always delayed and not looked upon in a timely manner inspite of I checking on them multiple times. Cashless facility was availed but I faced terrible time. Hope this is taken as feedback and hospital look to improve it.

Good doctors, cleanliness observed. BUT NEED improvement in staff attitude and REVAMP the discharge procedure. The file doesn’t move from nursing station for 2 hrs if there is duty change. And staff will tell you arrongently that it takes minimum 4 hours for billing cycle after starting the work by nursing staff. So if you get discharge in 3 hours consider yourself lucky.
